A Weed Is But An Unloved Flower?!?!

Hmm... interesting view. Well, Ella Wheeler Wilcox (the author of my post's title), I think you're either legally blind, or the Round-Up has gotten to your brain and you've chosen to make peace with the Dandelions. I am not to that point... yet!

Today I've been doing yardwork. It's very depressing because my sycamore trees in the front (and back) yards are full-grown and shed roughly about 10 million leaves every fall..., winter, spring and summer. That's only a slight exaggeration! My garbage can became full in the first 5 minutes (even with mulching the leaves), so I now have piles of leaves and weeds all over the front lawn. What a nice present for Charles to come home to! So, my yard looks pretty trashy. But here are some pictures of the springtime that makes it all worth it!
