He is done. No, I need to use correct grammar. This is an honorable occasion, and I feel I need to sound greatly dignified as I announce with much joy and pride in my heart...
He is FINISHED!!!
The wildcat has met his match. Charles William Burt is ready to take on the world!
Seriously though, I am so proud of my husband. He has quite a rebellious history and he finally pulled himself together and look what he achieved!
He almost didn't graduate from high school because he sluffed so much.
He believed sleep was of the essence, not studying.
He spent four years just working as a car mechanic before he decided to do something more with his life.
So... he moved to Utah.
Just so happened, Weber State is 1 of 7 schools in the country that offers this 'double bachelor' degree in Automotive Technology and Technical Sales.
He did an internship in Michigan and was very happy to return to Utah.
Then he met me. :-)
It has been fun to be the recipient of his many sales presentations. I have been sold on pastry designers, Shell Rapid Lube, and many other interesting things he likes to talk about for hours.
I have taken personality tests so he can figure out exactly how to sell to me.
I have been the skeptical customer, the gullible customer, and the wife who listens attentively.
He's a little coniving, but so personable that I have to love him.
Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS Sweetie!
No more school, no more books! No more Chandra's "you'd better get your homework done cuz we're losing our life savings for this!" looks!
Super Congratulations! That is the best feeling in the world and it's means celebration for both of you! Way to be the supportive wife Chandra :o)
