Anyway, here we go again! Sorry, it may be really long!
Day 11: What's in my makeup bag?
Well, to be honest, I'm not really a make-upy kind of girl. I wear the minimum that will help me look a little older than 14! And I use my Wal-Mart merchandise down to the very last drop. But here's what I apply daily.
Maybelline Mascara - very black - curved brush. Sometimes I curl my eyelashes, too, but only if I feel like inflicting pain upon myself. So not very often!
Some kind of bronze or shades of brown/gold eyeshadow. I don't even know the brand! How sad is that? Sometimes, I throw some purple in there, too, just to mix things up a bit.
Some type of liquid eye liner. I've just never been good at the pencil thing, and then having to sharpen it? That's just too much work!
Some kind of mousse foundation. Yep, once again, I have no idea the name. But it very nicely evens out my skin tone. I use this only when I go on dates or am going to a special occassion. Not an everyday type of committment for me!
Bath and Body Works minty lip gloss. Expensive little tubes, aren't they? But they make my lips shine and look seductive to Charles, and that's all that matters. Oh and it tastes good, too. Not that I eat it by the gallons, but ya know!
I did invest in some Mary Kay products once. They are still in my makeup bag, probably at the bottom. Oh well. I'm sure Charles appreciates me saving us money in that respect!
Day 12: A photograph of the town I live in.
Good ole' Ogden, Utah! You know what, I like Ogden. It is not ghetto, and it's not too ritzy (unless you get up on the East Bench). It's just perfect for people like me, who are living a normal life. I'm never scared of it, I've only been offered drugs once and that was at 2AM in the morning down below Wall Ave. so I probably deserved it.

Here is 25th street. The small city life, the history of the Union Station, and the mountains. All of Ogden wrapped up into one beautiful picture. |
Day 13: My favorite musician and why?
I honestly love Taylor Swift. She is just so relateable and down to earth. She says it like it is, in her 18-yr old style.
I was upset with an ex-bf once. What lyrics did she write to help me out with that? "So go and tell your friends that I'm obsessive and crazy. That's fine, I'll tell mine you're gay!" Perfect.
I was upset when he initially broke up with me. I totally got the wind knocked out of me it happened so unexpectedly. I thought my whole world was ending. I'd never been broken up with before. Never had someone hurt me so badly. "Why would you wanna break a perfectly good heart? Why would you wanna take our love and tear it all apart? Why would you wanna make the very first scar? Why would you wanna break a perfectly good heart?"
I am looking forward to having a baby girl someday. "Oh darling, don't you ever grow up. Don't you ever grow up, just stay this little. Oh darling, don't you ever grow up. Don't you ever grow up, it could stay this simple."
I am love with my husband, feeling a kind of love that I never imagined possible. "The night is sparkling, don't you let it go. I'm wonderstruck, blushing all the way home. ... All I can say is it was enchanting to meet you."
There are other artists out there who may have better actual music (Paramore, New Found Glory, etc.). But I like Taylor's pure voice and honest lyrics.
Day 14: A TV show I'm currently addicted to.
As an ongoing addiction, "The Office" will forever be on the top of my list.
But currently, I have taken up watching "I Shouldn't Be Alive" on Animal Planet. Wow, the crazy predicaments people get themselves into! I am not that adventurous, so I don't think I'll ever be in a situation where I will die of frostbite on a French mountaintop with ice pick shoes. And I hope to never be lost in the Arizona desert with only 3 ounces of water. But... if I do, I will be better prepared because I have watched this show, gotten some survival tips and watched people make stupid mistakes while I am in the comfort of my own home!
Day 15: Something I don't leave the house without.
Can you even imagine leaving the house without your cell phone nowadays? It would make me so anxious! I use it all the time. It's my watch, my lifeline to family when I need help, my freedom from boredom when I want to text friends, my link to Charles during the day when we are apart, and my camera when there is something happening in an instant that I can't grab my real camera and turn it on. I would be lost without it.
Day 16: Your celebrity crush.
Hmm... JTT was definitely up there on my list for many years! Since then, I have liked Taylor Lautner (can you deny that a buff, "American Indian" with dark skin and black hair and a tribal tattoo is hott?!), Ryan Reynolds, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper, and Xavier Samuel.
That's a nice note to end on. Haha :-) Enjoy!
