Too Much Cake!

"You've had a birthday!  Shout!  Hooray!  We'd like to sing to you today!  One year older and wiser, too!  Happy Birthday to you!" 

This was the primary song the kids sang yesterday in church.  I am subbing as the pianist while the actual pianist is out on maternity leave.  I felt like my fingers were dragging as I stumbled from one note to the next as if each phalange had gained a pound of its own.  Why?  Well, it couldn't possibly be that we had birthday cake once a week in February!

February 2nd - The big 23 for me.  I don't know why, but I really did feel older.  Not wiser, just older.

February 16th - My sister's 31st birthday. 

February 26th - Big Family Birthday Party for February and March b-days!

February 27th - Charles' 28th!  Now THAT'S old age for ya!

And because I am in love taking pictures for blogging and scrapbooking purposes, here are a bunch of them!

"Spaghetti and Meatball" cupcakes from our big family bash! 
Made by a lady my aunt know who makes creative cakes and cupcakes.

My mom just happened to have '2' and '8' candles.  Who knows why? 
But don't you worry, I put them to good use and rubbed in Charles' age a little bit more!

I made his cake.  Funfetti inside, with chocolate frosting and funfetti sprinkles on top.  A little icing, a little food coloring spray, and walla!  A perfect cake for a wanna-be kid!


So anyway, we are birthday-caked and FatCats-ed out!!! 
My mom's birthday is in 9 days.  Maybe she'll want pie.  I can only hope.
