Concerts!

I went to 3 concerts in a 2 week time span.  They were all very different from each other, and the audiences varied greatly from screaming, little 8 year old girls to scary punk rockers.  I bet you can't guess who I went to the scary punk rock concert with!  That's right... my formerly scary, mosh-pit participating, crowd-surfing husband.  I'm so glad he got over that stage of his life.  But his head banging did get a little out of control.

TAYLOR SWIFT - SEPTEMBER 28TH - Energy Solutions Arena

Her stage set-up was awesome.

She floated up to us in the nose-bleed section in her balcony!

Kelsey, who introduced me to Taylor Swift back in 2007.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE - OCTOBER 4TH - Maverick Center

Yep, we were the annoying girls with signs that blocked everyone's view.
Oh well!  We were the only true fans there!
 Bollywood!
Awesome circus dance choreographed by Tyce Diorio
My favorite two from this season doing the Foxtrot - Tadd and Caitlynn
Our local boy, Tadd.  He made it into the top 4!  Go Tadd!

A NEW FOUND GLORY - 11.11.11 - The Complex

Charles was a very happy boy.  NFG is his favorite band.
Not a great picture, but you can see a foot from someone crowd-surfing and a little of the mosh pit.

Lead singer.
Taylor Swift on his guitar with her lucky number 13!  Ahh... he loves her, too!  That's sweet!
They rocked hard.  My eardrums were shot after 4.5 hours of screaming and loud guitars.  My feet hurt from standing for 6 hours.  My arm was bruised from being shoved during the formation of a mosh pit.  But it was an experience to remember.  And Charles was happy, so that's all that matters.

I think I like hanging out with the screaming 8 year olds more.  :-)

  1. Okay...So first, totally jealous of the Taylor Swift concert--that looks totally fun!!! And second, you're such a sweet wife for taking your hubby to his favorite band's concert and for dealing with being pushed around and having your eardrums and feet hurt (yelling back at ya)! Love ya girly! :)

  2. Wow, you've been busy! The only real concerts I've been to are the symphony (which I am not ashamed of). I think I would go to Taylor Swift, too if I had my pick :)
