Don't make someone a priority when you are just an option to them.

Put your trust in our Heavenly Father; He will never leave you alone. 

There is always something good to learn from every trial you go through.  I am so thankful I have lupus, spent 2 months in Primary Children's and did chemo as a teenager!

4 Things I Did Yesterday

Went to a 'special sacrament meeting' and learned that our young marrieds ward no longer exists.

Played Twister with my nephew.

Leveled and monitored 2 EVDs every 2 hours (extra-ventricular drains, i.e. tube that comes out of the head to drain extra CSF off the brain)

Put a C-collar on an extremely irritable 3 yr. old who fell out of a window.

4 Things I'm Looking Forward To

CRUISE!!!  Mexican Riviera.  All You Can Eat Ice Cream.  Beach.  Shopping.  Ziplining. :-)  6 days to go...

Going to a high-risk OBGYN within the next year or two to see if we can even think of having kids.

Charles graduating in August so I can see more of him!  And we can convince people we are not just roommates in the same house.

100 degree weather!

Sitting in a comfy chair, in a warm blanket, reading a good book and watching the snow fall from the big window in the living room.

Hot Chocolate every night (and whenever I happen to pass by a 7-11!)

Sitting by the fireplace with my love

Everyone is so much happier when they have the Christmas spirit

A perfect yard, complete with someone to take care of it

A really nice, professional digital camera (I've considered family photography on the side)

A cure for lupus

That if we are able to have kids, they won't have lupus or have other birth defects because of me.
